Shipping policy
Garden Variety Organics will ship orders via FedEx, U.S.P.S., U.P.S. or by freight truck to addresses in the U.S.
Heavy or Bulky Orders
If you are not able to select a standard shipping option, then your order is too heavy or too large for automatic standard shipping calculation. In this case, you will need to contact us for a shipping quote or a freight quote before you place your order.
Garden Variety Organics does not ship items for free unless the item description specifies free shipping for the individual product.
Freight options:
For very large and bulky orders, Garden Variety Organics can accommodate LTL freight shipping as F.O.B. Origin.
Local Delivery in Dallas-Fort Worth:
If your order is being shipped to a location within 30 miles of our warehouse in Waxahachie, Texas, then you may choose the local delivery option (minimum order requirements and delivery fees apply).
Order Fulfillment Delays
Garden Variety Organics will ship most orders within 4 business days after receiving an order. Some products may be backordered and will therefore delay order fulfillment. If your order is time-sensitive, please contact Garden Variety Organics before placing your order to ensure that all items are in stock and available for timely shipping.
Risk of Loss
All items purchased from Garden Variety Organics are made based on the agreement that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to the customer upon our delivery to the carrier.
Shipping Claims / Orders Damaged During Shipment
If your order was damaged during shipment, you must file a claim with the shipping company. Garden Variety Organics does not process shipping claims for customers.
Under no circumstances does Garden Variety Organics refund shipping charges after order fulfillment.
